With its cutting length of 55 cm, tooth spacing of 18mm suitable for thicker branches and up to 2,200 cuts per minute, the GC-CH 1855/1 Li Kit cordless hedge trimmer is an efficient tool which thanks to its low weight and handy size provides good service for the trimming of hedges, shrubs and bushes on large grounds and allotments where there is no connection to the electric power grid.
The cordless hedge trimmer is supplied with an inclusive 18V 2.5Ah lithium-ion rechargeable battery provides a run time of up to 100 minutes, & can be used with any garden machines & power tools in the Power X-Change range. There is a battery charge indicator with three LEDs so that the user can always see the charge status at a glance.
The GC-CH 1855/1 features an adjustable front handle, while the rear handle can be swivelled for optimal handling & adjustment of the hedge trimmer to every working position, both in horizontal and vertical positions. The integrated two-hand safety switch brings the cutters to a standstill in less than 1 second when a switch is released & the cutters are protected by an aluminium cover. The shock guard has a holder for wall mounting and enables this cordless hedge trimmer to be stored away in an instant in minimum space.
For a long service life the gearing is made of metal & for clean cutting results the blades are made of laser-cut and diamond-ground steel. The GC-CH 1855/1 Li Kit comes with a cutting collector allowing cut braches to be removed from the top of hedges during use. It will also include a sturdy cutter guard for safe and user-friendly transportation or storage, as well as an 18V 2.5Ah lithium-ion battery & a fast charger which recharges the battery within 50 minutes.
