The Cobra M53SPH-PRO petrol rear roller lawnmower is powered by a Honda GXV160 engine with 2-speed gearbox, has a 21" cutting width and is built for the demands of the domestic and professional gardener.

The Cobra M53SPH-PRO petrol lawnmower comes equipped with a self propelled drive system with 2-speed gearbox. The self propelled system takes all the effort out of pushing your lawnmower and the 2 speed gearbox gives you total control for ultimate mowing. Providing speeds of 2.5km/h and 4.6km/h depending on user preference, the M53SPH-PRO provides added comfort and ease of operator use. The self propelled system takes all the effort out of pushing your lawnmower, meaning you can maintain your lawn with ease and without user fatigue, even when mowing thick grass or cutting on an incline. The high specification M53SPH-PRO machine from Cobra is shaft driven rather than belt or chain drive, so it will cope easily with long periods of intensive use in the most challenging conditions.

Cobra's Blade Brake Clutch System allows you to stop the blades while the engine keeps running. With most traditional mowers, when you let go of the handlebar, the engine stops running and you have to restart the mower to continue. This can be a hassle, especially if you are bagging. Roto-Stop stops the blades from turning, but keeps the engine running. No need to restart the mower.

With a cutting width of 53cm / 21", the Cobra M53SPH-PRO petrol lawnmower also has 7 adjustable cutting heights ranging from 16mm for a superb low finish, up to 76mm for tackling longer grass. All this is achieved by simply using the height of cut adjustment levers which allow you to easily and efficiently adjust the cutting height to suit your requirements.

Come rain or shine, the Cobra fan assisted collection system ensures a great collection every time. Even in the dampest conditions, the integrated fan works like a vacuum to further improve the collection of grass cuttings into the 75ltr collection bag. This fan assisted collection system is also efficient in the removal of other garden debris such as leaves.

The Cobra professional range of lawnmowers have stronger, thicker and more robust handlebars. In addition to the thicker gauge handlebars, the Cobra M53SPH-PRO lawnmower comes equipped with reinforcing struts for extra strength for your lower handles.The handlebar will still fold to make it easy to transport & ensuring safe, compact storage of the machine. This Cobra machine is shipped without oil in the machine. Oil must be decanted into your unit before the machine is started. Further information can be found in the operators manual. Please read this before starting. Failure to fill your machine with oil will result in a catastrophic failure that will not be covered under warranty.

New E10 Fuel & your Cobra

As you may be aware the current grade of petrol has recently changed in the UK to E10. E10 has been used in mainland Europe for some time & there have not been any major problems reported with its use in lawn mowers & garden tools.

We would however recommend the following to prolong the life of your Cobra:

• At the end of the season, or if you're not going to use your Cobra for a long period of time, drain or run the fuel tank dry
• If you're using E10 use Briggs & Stratton Fuel Fit additive
• You can always opt for Premium Unleaded fuel
