SS125 DIY Wallpaper Stripper Simple yet effective wallpaper removal The Earlex DIY wallpaper stripper is one of our bestselling systems.
The simplicity of this system is ideal for first time users, no previous skill is required. This lightweight unit has a 2kw heating element to heat up the water inside.
It can take up to 4 litres of water, which means it’s perfect for all small to medium jobs and provides up to 70 minutes steam time from one fill.
The system only uses water, no chemicals are needed so it’s both environmentally friendly and cost effective to use. The easy to fill tank has a neat little screw cap lid, the perfect size for filling from the tap.
The top of the unit has a handy carry handle for moving around. Once the element has heated the water and steam produced, it passes through the hose and comes out of the translucent steam plate.
The plate is translucent to provide you with better visibility when placing on the wallpaper. It also allows you to see any condensed water when working overhead. When the steam plate is held up against the wall, damp hot air particles pass through the paper; it saturates the backing and partially dissolves the old wallpaper paste releasing the old paper from the wall.
